Nice to you Chrolle as well as eMTe. :) Thanks eMTe for adding the patch file. New players to 4D Prince of Persia would love you for adding it. :D

Oh, forgot to mention, Kirill used version 1.0 to modify and make 4D Prince of Persia levels.
Sorry, I was mistaken, there was no version 1.1 publicly released same like no version 1.2.

Ok, I'll share with you my secret of using the fastest way to test whether your copy of "4D Prince of Persia" had the same bug. ----------------------> I used the Game cheat to skip levels. I simply couldn't have played 10 levels each time someone says their 4D Prince of Persia has a bug. :P

The cheat for different POP versions are different. Start the game with 4d_prin kirill! (for 4D POP), prince megahit (for POP v1.0) or prince improved (for POP v1.3 & v1.4) to have the get the game in the cheat mode.
For POP / POP4D, after entering in cheat mode, you can use some of the following in-game cheats:
K - Kills all enemies on the screen.
R - Resurrects you where you last died.
+ - Increase time left.
- (minus) - Decrease time left.
Shift-L – Skip to next level.
Shift-T - Extra life (Max is 10)
Shift-S - Heals a lost life.
Shift-W - Float down long drops.
N - Look at screen below the current one.
U - Look at screen above the current one.
H - Look at screen to the left of current one.
J - Look at screen to the right of current one.
Shift-B - Blocks out non-animated objects.
Shift-I - Inverts screen (upside down), press again to restore
C – View Programming Code

WARNING:
* Never ever use the K cheat on Skeleton and Vizar as it will make your game impossible to continue & complete the level.*
* Use cheats at your own risk as using them decreases your enjoyment to having conquered a level* :P

Just in case, some people are not aware of how to save their game (needed by people who play honestly without cheats). To save game, press Ctrl G at level 3 or above. To restore game, press Ctrl L at the title screen.

Just some information - the reason POP v1.3 is actually better for sound effects is because it allows choosing of sound card (that determines internal / external speakers) through sound setup. I have tried the different sound card options before and it was so interesting. It gave me a few combinations:
-Internal speaker sound effect & internal speaker music
-External speaker sound effect & external speaker music
-Internal speaker sound effect & external speaker music
-External speaker sound effect & internal speaker music

For "4D Prince of Persia", the file that stores level designs is "Kirill.dat". For Prince of Persia (all versions), the file that stores level designs is called "levels.dat". The files can be used interchangably i.e. you can play 4D POP levels using POP game exe or play the POP levels using 4D POP game exe by just renaming the "Kirill.dat" to "levels.dat" or vice versa.

Kirill did a good job of designing the levels for "4D Prince of Persia" as it is quite difficult and certain levels not as difficult as we think. A video walkthrough of "4D Prince of Persia" is available on Youtube.

If you are fond of POP, you could get one of the POP level editors mentioned earlier and make your own levels.

That's all information I remember so far. For more information, you have to ask me the questions. :P

Is this patch available anywhere or it's some kind of rarity known only by few hardcore players? If few people know about its existence theyll be really happy to find it.

I think this might even call for a short 4D Prince of Persia guide on our site... =)

In a way, you are sort of right about it being rare and know only to hardcore players POP players. You are the first one to officially add it as a patch next to the game download site.

Many years back, the patch was actually create by Princed Developer and posted in forum of his site (where I gave the link of the main site earlier). As it has been many years, the download link in the forum is dead. The main site used to be known for being the POP level editor site where hard core POP games go as you can get download tools to create POP mods, use level editor, record sound, change graphics etc. The format of the site changed since though after many years they are still having work-in-progress to write from scratch "Free Prince" (a Prince of Persia to be released as freeware).

Many year back, I had posted the patch as a reply to 4D POP technical problem in a forum. Recently, someone used search Googles and couldn't find any information or patch except for my forum post many year back but the link was dead. :P Then I uploaded the patch to the temporary file sharing site again and linked in it that forum as a reply. That temporary file sharing site was the same one you downloaded from. Thus technically speaking only CWF main site, the post above and that particular forum post has it for download so not sure if you still considered that rare. The only others who have it are the hardcore gamers. Only new players to 4D POP would be interested and CWF is the only site which places the patch next to their main game download.

If a guide is written, maybe 15 pages might still not be enough.
It's quite time consuming to do one and I think people won't bother to read until they really need. They can make do with the main information in the earlier post above, view video for walkthrough and post their queries here . :P -> talk about modern day efficiency, read & watch everything you wanted to know about 4D POP in the least amount of time.

If you are talking talking about a concise summarised guide with links and information placed in an organised manner, that can be considered.

There was a comment on 4D Prince of Persia's game page that the patch download didn't actually work. I fixed it, so now people actually can get the patch to play the game!

my sys is giving an error whilee running thiss plzz help
THE ERROR IS :
the NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
choose 'close' to terminate the application
Googled NTVDM, and it apparently means NT Virtual DOS Machine. Windows uses sort of an emulator to run 16 bit DOS programs. My best guess would be to run it from DOSBox instead, because it's not an error message unique to that particular game. http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic5039.html. Still just a guess.
