The Ancients' Tome

Post by eMTe »

Very strange game in which your first task is to figure out what menu icons mean... Basically, you need to figure out everything by yourself. Game requires close observation, fast fingers and good memory. It's hard to describe, really, what this game really is. But seems to be fun. Youll love it or hate it, exactly as Pondwater states on his site. To check.

I'm undecided, but it's certainly a challenging game, in its simplicity.

I really like this for making me struggle with my mind and memory all along.

A good action puzzler that can get your mind going. I could imagine this game could be quite addictive if you get a bit good at it.

Can't say that I love or hate this game (homepage says that there are just these two possibilities), but it's interesting enough to be played for a while. After I found out what to do (which wasn't clear for me at the beginning), you could find me hammering at my keyboard to type in the correct key combinations as fast as possible. But that wasn't enough after a few levels when my memory left me and I forgot some of the codes. Nice thing that you can train both (reaction and memory) with this game.

Unfortunately the game is rather short and except for the graet basic concept there isn't much variety in gameplay. I like it nonetheless.
