TastyStatic

Post by Moogle »

One of the most 'Interesting' titles i've seen for a freeware game. But TastyStatic offers a good gameplay experience.

"Tasty Static is a videogame where you go really fast and jump a lot. You'll probably get really annoyed along the way too.

It's a clone of an excellent PC oldie called Skyroads by BlueMoon Interactive, which is required playing if you like this kind of stuff.

Tasty Static is currently available in three fantastic flavors. There is also a Windows-only level editor."

- In case you're wondering, this is a remake of SkyRoads (Look it up..) and comes with a tons of levels.

Read This : (This applies to all the games that I post.)
- I do not include 'Direct' downloads with any of the games I post in respect to the developers and for the purpose of being operating system friendly, as most freeware games are.
- If you want a direct download for a certain game then please pm me with the request and i'll send you over the link. Chances are I won't be able to find you one if you are a Mac and/or Linux version.
- I may or may not have videos for all of these files. If you come across a video of any of the files that I currently have no video for, then please send the link to me (1 min. minimum please.)
- If anyone finds that having these videos posted "as is" slows down their computer so much as to affect their computer's performance, please contact me and I will replace them with links to the videos and/or screenshots instead of featuring them on the page.
- If any of the links/videos become broken or corrupted please contact me ASAP and I will replace them with working links/videos.
- I have installed and played all of the games (That I post, not all of the games in the world.), so if you are having problems installing them or getting them to work then pm me and i'll try to help you out (I only run Windows so sorry Mac and Linux users, I won't be any help to you.)

An amazing community job done with this title. Not big on graphics, but has so much potential as a coffeebreak game, with the desire to come back to beat your times at some levels.

Are there any good reason why I should like this game better as the original "Skyroads"? I can think of the editor, the unlockables and the fact that you don't need the Dosbox to play this one. But any other? In my eyes it's just a "Skyroads" clone. Technically well done and a decent remake, but I could easily live without it.
