  :haha: :poke:  :lol2:

So maybe you should rethink your score you gave in the validation thread. I mean now you understand what the game is about...

It's not finding out what to hit that's the problem. It's the probability of getting levels you can't beat. In the screenshot you can't hit the green targets because the shot would get caught in the gravitational field of the red. You can of course try to slingshot it around the gravitational field, but the margin of success is too slim for it to be moderately predictable. Maybe making the outer perimeter's gravitational force stronger and the inner weaker. Or having a longer area with non-variable gravity in the middle radius of the circle. I think that would widen the margin of predictability when slingshotting the shots around the targets or planets.

Well I think that I might just up my score one point.:)
I have to say that the whole score was based on the feel of hitting the spot, and having stuff explode. :), but understanding that I mihgt have been lucky a few times and set off a lot of stuff, should earn this an extra point. :)

This game is so much easier once you ahve all the facts. :)
I am currently at 232.000 points (ca.) and have 24 shots to complete levels. I tend to use 5 shots a level, and then I am rewarded with 6 shots afterwards. At first I couldn't get the whole chainreaction working, but then I started thinking different and that made it a bit too easy, or PERFECT for a hangover morning as PA said.

I don't know. Maybe you shouldn't think in that categories. Looking at the reactions in this thread I would say that you created a program that people like and enjoy very much. Be proud of it. Does it really matter if it is a game?

827.489 points and then I died. :)

I think it is a game. Haven't got lots of gameplay, but still has some attraction.
Why shouldn't it be a game in your oppinion?

It feels more like a swirly "toy" thing, than a game. Like the scores don't really matter, and it's actually all about watching the lovely swirly patterns emerge!

I think that something can still be fun / amusing / interesting / fascinating to watch even though it's not classified as a traditional game. For example i see Celestia as being in same category as other games. It's generally an entertaining program and it's fascinating to be able to travel between all the stars knowing that that's the real distance between them. :)

Wow! Great score! I bet it took you at least two hours to reach that.

That's definitely one of the qualities of this "game". You can shoot at planets for hours, gameplay stays the same for the whole time and it doesn't get boring at all.

Well first of all I learned that you need to fire the green canon at the green balls so to speak :)
Then you just have to think which color is closer gathered. If the green ones are clustered in one corner and a few are int he opposite corner then see if you can avoid shooting that color, cause the gravity of the other balls will most likely not let the shots pass all across the screen. So go for colors that are centered and plentyful to get as many shoot as fast as possible.
