Rubik's 2D

Post by eMTe »

By moving tiles in the bottom box you must arrange them in order to create identical set as in upper box. Tiles move similarly to Rubik's Cube - you move whole rows and columns. Gets hard in later stages.

Seems to be remake of Namco's arcade from 1989, but I havent investigated it yet.

Actually way more cool casual gaming than I had expected. Very simple and pretty addictive.

Too flashy and noisy for my taste. And it doesn't even get challenging till about level 21. Before you could solve most levels with just a single click. So I wouldn't say that the difficulty is balanced very well. At least the game saves your progress, so you don't have to go through the easy levels again each time you start.

I also would have wished for a fullscreen option (but that's a minor issue).

It's also around level 20 it gets difficult for me. But otherwise it's a good small puzzler, but still not much else that makes it special.
