Absolute Survival

Arena shooter, very similar to Crimsonland. You, your faithful gun and waves of aliens. Addictive.

Crimsonland gameplay with one exception - You can survive! That means you will play incresingly harder levels in this shooter, and you will of course be fighting hectic to get past the surrounding heaps of monsters closing in on you! Powerups will help you alot, so shoot for those damn red monsters carrying them. Had there been less cardboard feeling to the main character this might have been even better.

Yes, you can survive and that's the problem. You can survive far too long and much too easy. The AI of the monsters isn't high at all and they are moving quite slowly. So there's an easy strategy to survive:

1. Grab a shotgun as fast as possible
2. Whenever a wave starts shoot your way to one of the corners of the map
3. Now run in circles on the edges of the map and fire at the centre where the monsters are.

So far I survived every level using this strategy and I quit after about 20 levels, because it got boring. Might be the worst thing you can say about an arena shooter.

Is there any way I can play this without installing the Ask.com toolbar??
Every time I go to play it won't let me without installing the toolbar first.

I think I bypassed it, but that might have been a fluke (or an older installation of the game)...

Just don't agree to the license agreement and don't agree that it should be your default toolbar. In other words: Don't check any of the boxes.
