Rakker and the Adventure of the Sinking Cities

Post by Pater Alf »

This is a cute little platform game. The game is not very long, there are only three levels to play. But while you can beat the first two levels quite easy, the third one is hard and it took me some time to complete it.

This is what the story is about (written by the developer):
"One year ago, a bunny-rabbit got hit by a car. He died instantly. When in Hell, the rabbit was so angry, that he gathered an entire army of road-killed rabbits. Together they started digging holes beneith the cities, so that they sunk into the ground. They wouldn't stop till the whole world was destroyed. But there is one rabbit, that just couldn't let that happen..."

The graphics and animations are really cute, the music is enjoyable and the gameplay was fine. So I think this is the right platform game to spent an hour or two.

Great gameplay, with a very fitting difficulty for me at least. I ahd to die on a hard obstacle to learn how to beat it. However it is frustrating that you need to restart levels and that there are so few health-hearts. I would wish for at least a checkpoint mid level in the last level. Very tricky timed jumps there, and then you go on to collect a heart and stumble onto even harder obstacles... I think we can agree it is hard and short, but I think it is rather good. The graphical side was brilliant, and the music was oldschool without being too digital.
