Now. Maybe youve heard about this game, maybe not. It became kinda controversial, even being listed by Symantec as dangerous virus. What you get is basically a very simplistic Space Invaders clone with weird twist: enemies represent real files on your computer. If you shoot them you delete your files, first documents, later system files. Chances are if youll play it long enough youll eventually cause your os to crash.
If youll manage to kill all aliens and your computer survives youre the winner. In true sense of these words one would say.

Might be a good idea for me to try this on a junk Win98 system that I plan to format the hard drive on anyway.
This seems like a scary concept to me!

Hmm, that's an interesting concept. But I don't think I will try it as long as I don't plan to get a new system.
I think it's even more interesting that the enemies never shoot at you. So shall the game tell us something about the consequences of being aggressive?

Perhaps.
The most dangerous thing about Lose/Lose is actually that somebody, interested in the concept, can create similar game without announcing that it's a joke. In other words - concealed true virus.

The big problem about this is that you might not discover the threat until it is way too late. If it keeps deleting files that you dont use then you might not see it coming ontil it deletes say "win.exe"
.
Right now I a pretty sure I will never try this game out.
