It's the 11th of october today, so it's time to submit the first christmas game of the year...
You're a little boy and you sneak down the stairs to look for the presents Santa brought you. And there it is: The Best Adventure Game ever! Just the second you want to start playing, you hear a strange noise from the kitchen and before you know what happened you´re in the middle of an adventure yourself. You have to help a stupid elf and save your house and it won´t be easy...
"Christmas Quest 2: The Yuletide Flows in" is a short adventure, but it has nice graphics, challenging puzzles and lots of references to classic adventures (like the frozen hamster in the freezer).
Not the best adventure ever, but quite funny and a nice seasonal game.
Ok, so I tried it. Imo it's much better than predecessor, because it tries to be at least short adventure instead of escape the room game. Puzzles are quite easy and mostly require manipulating inventory and I also didnt like the fact that time-puzzle can be done by trial and error without knowing where's the solution. But characters are likeable with little elf playing Max (from Sam'n'Max) and being only slightly less nasty, backgrounds and animations are very well done for such a small game and music suits nicely. Overall, I had fun and always wanted to finish the game, never fighting the urge to exit, delete it and forget it.
Small hint for guys behind the production: the font you used in this game is awful. Dont do this again.

I am going with a ditto to that one, as that was my thoughts exactly after playing this. I am glad I finally found time to play this tonight.
I am once again in the holiday spirit, and thinking that we should get our hands on the third installment of this game.
Currently testing Life version 2.9 (With added second child)
