Underwater platformer featuring young brave adventurer on his quest to retrieve lost family artifact. As it is with all GameTop's games graphically and technically it beats your everyday normal freeware to the ground.

It is, as always with Gametop, a great quality freeware gama but rather repititive. The difficulty is easy by default and that means kids game. I would recommend this to a lot of people if they have kids, but most people over the age of 15 will get bored of this after playing for 20 minutes - but it does play well! It just have some heavy competition on the scene. Just when you think you are close to being done - you get that naggy feeling and you realise that you just finished 1/3 of the game... So arm yourself with some patience and you will get a good time, but otherwise you will quit this beauty before you complete it.

"Disappointing" describes Shark Attack best. Design is overwhelmingly beautiful, controls smooth, gameplay interesting. Unfortunately, after playing through 20 similar and ubereasy levels you feel desire to remove the game from disk. And if you have enough patience to play the rest of the game which looks like the same level repeated over and over again you can consider yourself gifted guy. Shark Attack is undoubtedly made for kids and would shine if there was some essence inside, but there is only vacuum. Levels lack any design with stones and oxygen scattered almost everywhere even if you dont need them difficulty seems to be getting higher when you progress, but it's an illusion since so-called enemies usually make a colourful background and not too dangerous (first time Ive seen octopus attacking was somewhere around level 35 and I never even tried to avoid it in previous levels). The only serious task in SA is to find all secrets, but it's not very hard also. Having in mind that kids are usually less patient than adults and nowadays they tend to be more skilled in such games this game is even more disappointing.
It looks gorgeous and plays smoothly, despite lacking substance. It doesnt become boring, rather tiresome and it's not the same. You play it and you soon feel that you play the same level over and over again, but you play it anyway. So I guess it's part of fun. Beautiful, very long, very easy and empty game.

I think I can't say anything that wasn't perfectly said by eMTe...
Very beautiful game for kids that is much to easy to be interesting for experienced or older players.
But I have to admit that in a certain way this game is really relaxing (in the same way that watching at an aquarium is relaxing).

Is somebody posing as/actually the developer or is the same game known as two different things? What does the main menu in this game say? Diver Jimmy or Shark Attack?

I think the issue is that creators of such games make them for potential profit, so they just do what others want. Site X wants to attract children, so they replace Shark Attack with Diver Jimmy, because Shark Attack sounds horifying (aaaarghhh!). Games today, thanks to various tools, are programmed so that what you see can be easy altered with anything you want. From music to animation. Anyway, there are some games submitted here allowing replacing music files with your own tracks. Whatever our dear customer likes. Meet McGaming.
