Crunch Time!

Post by Pater Alf »

Developer's description:

"In Crunch Time, the VMC Gamelab's testers, Pixel and Vega, need to work out some major kinks in the newest sci-fi MMO, but only have one day to do it. Assist Pixel in the VMC control room, where you'll frantically try to sort out bad data by moving pieces to line up matches of 3 (or more) in a row.

You're control room has monitors displaying all of the vital information needed complete your task. Cameras show Pixel and Vega, as well as current data progress, intensity, and chat and system messages.

If you need help, click on Pixel to have her assist you. If the board layout is sub-optimal for the largest chains, click the VMC fingerprint to shake things up."

The game is a bit on the easy side. I played it two times and it seems to me that it is impossible to fail. But there are nice graphics and excellent music and sounds. And with the cutscenes that are running in the background, I consider this one more a interactive movie than a challenging game. Check it out to see if you like it.

An ultra-easy Puzzle Quest clone. I don't think it's possible to fail this game.

The voice overs were great fun, though.

I guess there's always the high score, if you remember to screen:

The download is definitely gone. I don't have it any more either. Well, maybe I do on the old HDD. If that's the only option, let me know, and I'll do the hard work and check if that happens to be the case.

Or contact the developers and ask. :)

A good graphical game with some cornyness to it. It seems the developers wanted ot be in the lingo with the people playing this, and that seems a bit corny. When one of the girls utters "all your base are belongs to YOU" i had to fight a gag reflex...
The game in itself is actually quite good, and having it all be connected to a story that takes place in the left side of your vision is actually quite ok. I hated the voiceacting, but liked some of the jokes in the game, while others were simply too corny to take serious.
The entire game played without a glitch, and I would say that would it be built out further I would propably play it longr, but after hainvg finsihed it once around, I am not going back.
