It is another Arkanoid clone, and it comes highly recommended as better than the first and that was rated THE BEST arkonoid clone ever.
There are once again little annoying gnomes trying to wreck your game, and as much as they annoy you, the word on the street is that they are really cute, and bounce well on a paddle!
This sequel should have way more features than the first installment.

Year: 2006
Once again a newthinking Arkanoid game, with lots of little extra-features. The gnomes themselves ads lots of gameplay to this, and the addictiveness is high. The fun thing is that the first levels tend to look rather boring and traditional, even cutting it close to badly made, but then you get to level 3 and new things start to happen, and then you get to level 5 and entirely new things start to happen, and then the things that are ciddifcult in one level is easy in another while new difficulties start kicking in, and you realise that level by level you are facing new gameplay-things that is keeping this good all along.
Currently testing Life version 2.9 (With added second child)
(Beta testing in progress)
What exactly are the new things that start to happen and the features that add something new to the gameplay?
So far I played till level 16 and as far as I can see there is nothing that I haven't seen before in other Arkanoid clones or in Jardinais 1.
So far I liked Jardinains 1 even better, because it was more fast-paced. This sequel is a bit to slow in my eyes and because of that a little boring (I hardly lost a single life so far).
BTW: Level design is exact the same as it is in Jardinains 1. It seems to me they just improved the graphics and added some new power-ups. And probably new levels are only there if you pay for them.
Sorry, my fault. I've played the wrong levelpack the whole time. The game comes with two different ones: "Jardinains! Classic" and "Jardinains 2!". I will go and play the right one immediately. Maybe I will find the new features then...
Ok, I played the right levelpack now. Would still say that there aren't too many new gameplay features. Maybe the fact that in some levels you have to bring down some gnomes and get certain power-ups, before you can succeed or that the tiles don't always have the same size.
But at least the developer created some levels with a damn good level design.
