Decent, but short platformer with stylish graphics.

I like the beginning of this game.
Somewhat unexpected way to die.
The enemies are varied in strengths movement patterns and abilities, which gives a fun gameplay. You dont feel like you are killing the same type of monster over and over again.

Re: Space Barnacle
I'm not amazed. First of all you can't change the key configuration which means the game is hard to play for me (someone should tell the developers that Z and X key are not even somewhere near on German keyboards).
The retro style is nice, but the level design is not always clear and sometimes I jumped into nowhere because I thought it would be the right way to go (maybe that's more my fault). And there are even some bugs. Once I certainly was warped to another level without any reason which was quite annoying and in another situation I was able to leave the screen with an elevator (which made no sense).
So I would say that it's a nice retro platform shooter, but certainly not one of the best ones in the freeware section.
