Here you can talk about anything (that isn't related to the other forums).

What happens with your accounts when you're dead?

Found the article in Daily Telegraph:

And in case youre interested there's Legacy Locker:

Only 300 bucks. :P Masters of pulling money out from your pockets are game again. And look at this heartwarming photo. And blue sky, clouds. Ah.

However I like the sound of "digital assets". I believe that makes proud every regular normal facebook user, porn searcher, mmorpg gamer, news portal reader. Sounds serious, doesnt it? ;)

I'll let passwords to my assets slip into oblivion anyway. :P

I can tell you all that Tanja knows my codes to my Facebook account, bank account etc.
And beyond her, both Pater Alf, eMTe, Maz and Zyx knows the data needed to run CWF, so should I someday collapse or something, then CWF will live on. :D
Only problem will be the bickering about who gets to pay the bills

But try to have a decent debate with this topic going on. Who gets your facebook profile when you die? It seems hard to find a straight face to respond to... :)

Facebook or other community website.

No one gets. It's yours. You left some photos, messages etc... You left them, but theyre no "goods" like house or bank account. Theyre rather something along diary or painting lines... Visible traces of someone's existence. But not worth anything. If we start transferring rights to everything related to dead person then we can as well count handkerchiefs he bought week before his death. Or a pair of hollow shoes found in the basement.
