Tetra Blocks

Post by Drasir-Vel »

If you think "oh no, not another tetris clone" then i'll have to say its not just that. This one is in fact quite good. It is inspired by and is a tribute to the C64 era, and it's music. The music in this game is something i personally like very much, but also the sound effects, plays a big role. The synthetic, and crispy music fits very well with the rest of the game. It also allows for 2P as seen in screenies.

After playing this after a while, i have to say again that the music in this game is perfect. I don't know what does it. but maybe gamers just have something with crispy C64 music, combined with explosive sound effects.
It gives me the thrills. This is not an ordinary tetris clone.

Tetra Blocks does have something going for it. The music is indeed capturing, and great for remembering the good old days. But I also have to say that Tetra Blocks is another Tetris clone, and as such the game does not stand out. BUT the music should be heard so go try this out, and just hang around the main menu if you feel like it.

In my eyes it is just another "Tetris" clone. The music is indeed nice, but there are no other features to differ it from any other "Tetris" clone around.
