New one. I would also accept the name of the maincharacter, if your local title is too complicated :)

Had to check that. After discussing this issue with Wikipedia, we decide to say no.
From my understanding, the character had in Poland the international name (so did he in Germany).

And yes, the title is also different.

But his opponent was tall and had long black hair and his team was called "Number One"?

Oh, and he was goalkeeper.

After short reconnaissance I can tell international title is Ganbare, Kickers!, but I never saw it under this title. The boy was called Rudi (or Rudy) - maybe after Rudi Völler :D - the series "Footballers" and goalkeeper's team "Number One". I cant say otherwise, because Id have to lie. :P

Ok, I had to do some research again. I found out, there were two football animes. One of them was the one eMTe mentioned, featuring a long haired goalkeeper. That anime's name is Kickers (Official Site here).
I am looking for the other series, it's main character is the striker flying high on the image.

Sorry about the confusion. :)

No.... Its a white box with an X-in it. It is a series, with little to non interaction with other people/signs.
Very Postmodern.

It really is postmodern because it's also really subjective: you see white box with an X, all I see is a blue box with question mark in it... :Greenride:
