Actually, each planet has its own distinctive music style, but that would be music for some of the levels, indeed.

Now when I know that music is of not-annoying-quality (call it average or endurable or whatever :evilsmilie ) I can finish my validation...

According to OG topic there's a Christmas mode to unlock in Tyrian 2000. I wonder if it's true.

Tyrian 2000 is now available from GOG.com for free. The download includes also the soundtrack.

No idea if the GOG.com version differs from what has been available previously. At least according to GOG.com the game should work fine on Windows XP, Vista and 7.
