Welcome to our forum. We really hope that GameHippo will survive and as long as there is no own homepage for the "new" GameHippo you are more than welcome to post on our site.
And after that we would be happy about any kind of cooperation. After all there is just a small freeware community and we should all help the developers to present their games to an as big publicity as possible.

I have been following your talks in both the old forum and to some extent on the new (www.mrworm.net ?) forum.
I really hope that we can help each other out. Cooperation is key, and I like your idea of a community run website. We are all about that. We are also the result of a coup-d'-etat or similar here, so we understand the situation very well.
As soon as an admin is in it for the money, the love for the site goes. I think everyone here knows that I am loosing money on this site, and dont really mind, since I love it, so....
But let us know if you have some suggestions for cooperation. We would love to hear it.

I checked out the new GH too. It looked good.
out of the curiosity, do you use some framework while building the new site? I can assure you, that building site on top of the phpbb2 SW, will later reduce hell of a mess to maintain

My obsession network related programs and protocols has created these:
epb - Ethernet Packet generator (and more)
nsn - Network status monitoring tool for linux
thongs-sniffer - network sniffing and traffic analyzing tool + ethernet packet crafter for linux (derived from nibbles)
nibbles - UDP print listener + something else
