Quantasm

New game from Ovine by Design, remake of Bedlam. Shooter with stunning visuals (Smila attacks again) and almost zero replayability. Impressive nonetheless.

Quantasm is an epeleptic attack waiting to happen. The game is way too flashy to be good. It really is bad for your eyes playing this, and while this of course is meant to highten the difficulty of concentrating on your targets, it really ends up being the thing that kills off an otherwise good concept. I would love to play quantasm without the blinks, but for now it is moving into my folder of tested freeware games that I propably wont play again...

Had no trouble playing it... My eyes are ok. 8)

But blinkiness may be a serious issue for some, true. :[

I really like this game. It's fast-paced and quite hard to master and the atmosphere and the visual effects are amazing. Of course the blinking and flashing is irritating, but that's part of the concept and makes the game even more fun to play.

Thumps up for another great game from Ovine by Design! :cool:

@eMTe
Why do you think there is no replayability???

There's almost no replayability. ;)

There are many kinds of replayabilities. You can choose alternate paths in adventure game, finish different sidequests in rpg, choose various strategies in war game or win more points in arcade game. That last kind is least replayabilitish of all on my private ladder. ;)
