And now time for a little announcement
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOT O'ROCK
Have a bloody jolly day mate and enjoy your 24 candles.
Guinness please.
On a side-note. For one side I'm sorry to hear that, but on the other hand after seeing my 2 grandmothers lasting for decades getting worse and worse each time, I tend to agree with Maz. I had a great aunt and a great uncle who both died on the same day and fortunately I had visited them hours before and they seemed fine. I have somegreat memories and a lot of wisdom from the good times we spent together alone and in family, so in the end I think all turned out for the best.
Just out of curiosity, how old was she?

She was 52.
She had Tanja and her big sister at a very young age.
We had dinner with Tanjas dad tonight at his place and he started cleaning out her stuff, and had Tanja teach him how the washer works, since he never worked it before. He doesn't know anything about cooking or cleaning either, so Tanja might be with him alot in the next weeks. He will survive though - he has a tendency to.
We are going down to their summer-house in the weekend, the entire family, so that will be nice. Tanja is still going strong so I am more or less awaiting a total breakdown at the funeral next thursday.

My father started to drink several months after my mother died; partially because he didnt cope too well with her death, partially because I didnt take care for him as much as I think I could cause I was living elsewhere and maybe visited him too rarely. He also was on pension (dont know how different types of pensions are called, so lets just say he wasnt working), so there was nothing much to do when he was alone at evenings except watching Eurosport and reading. Was a matter of time when first pack of beer appeared in the house.
Before it, it was almost impossible to push him to drink a glass of wine or beer, even when we had bigger family meeting.
Maybe not the best time to say it, but what should have been said has been said and I'm not too good in talking on topic.
Always remember to keep an eye on Tanja's father, especially if he will be staying alone for longer periods. My dad was in quite good physical and psychical condition and after 8 months he became a zombie.
Happy Birthday, Dot.

After all bad news it is time to try telling somethiing positive
It seems like our 'world news' project has not been 100% invain. I am positive that if we continue announcing interesting things, we'll get good results
http://gamedev.comdel.net/index.php?topic=1264.0
Of course it feels somewhat strange to tell this as good news, because the downhill of the Hippo is such an unfortunate event. It is hard to lose a website you used to love... We all know that.
/Me goes back to his deep depression...

Sorry that I forgot the birthday wishes yesterday Dot. I guess you can read between the lines that my head was elsewhere.
And about the news section I also got some positive feedback on my blog about this. I also wrote an article on my blog about it.
Maz do you know how to add links in blogs like mine? I would love to add a link to this site of course.
I cannot seem to figure it out, but then again I have only been trying a few things so far.

Btw, doesnt "interview with" sound more gramatically correct than "interview of"?
Most likely it only sounds so for me. Word "interview" in Polish doesnt have verb version, only noun. Therefore you cant "interview someone", you can only "make interview with someone".
What you think?
