Jimmy's Lost His Toilet Paper

Post by Pater Alf »

A new 7-day game by Petri Purho (Crayon Physics). Fun to play with a weird theme, nice graphics and a crazy soundtrack.

"Jimmy lives a simple life. All he's got is a roll of toilet paper. Until the faithful day that his TP rolled away. You play as Jimmy on his epic adventure to get back all that belongs to him and find love and meaning to his life on the way.

Control Jimmy with [ARROW KEYS]. Press [DOWN] (or [SHIFT]) to hold on to the toilet paper and drag it with you. You have to collect all of the toilet paper in the level to get to the next one." (Developer's description)

I am the great Cornholio!

EDIT: Shame there's no level select. Once it crashes, you do not want to go back and do it all over again.

A physics demo disguised as puzzle game. Once you wrap (haha) your mind around the physics it's easy to figure out what to do, but really hard to do it. I can only assume this is due to controls not being quite good enough.

I ran into the problem that letting too much TP loose crashed the game, forcing you to start over from the beginning. This was rather annoying.

Game crashed for me also, but it has nothing to do with paper, I just switched to gamefolder to check readme link and then this happened. Seems JLHTP is simply crashable.

It seems you all have crappy computers... ;)

I played through the whole game twice yet and I really tried hard to make it crash, but I didn't manage to do so. :D

I have to say that I like the game. It's a bit hard to control, but the basic idea, the graphics and the level design are very nice. And it has the right length to play through it in one go, so you won't míss the save function to much.
