Yes, maybe we can. If I can find the time.. But it will mean the game uploads, edits, searches and so on are down for a while... (how long that while is depends on how much of what I have done I have forgotten )
Is the genre-change still possible? I think we might need to look over the genres we have now. Maybe we can make it so that members (crew) can suggest genres for the games. It would be very much easier going over games having only to report some change to the genres if it could be done automatically instead of us going over everything and then manually editing the game info. But if it is not rather easily done then I dont think we should do it.
An example of what I was thinking regarding editing:
A page with all the info lined up as we make it when we add a game, and then some textfield besides every option to suggest changes. Then these changes should be reported to a specific member or a function (like reviews), which could then edit it with YES or NO button.

Pater Alf wrote:Very often when I add a game to the database, I'm confused because there is no category for simple action. We just have 3D action, 1st Person shooter, Beat´em Up, but no Shoot´em Up or 2D action.
So I classified a game like "Raging Skies" as Flying, Arcarde and Misc. But in fact it´s simple Action.
Maybe we can add a category for this type of games?
A category for simple action and shoot'm up games is still needed...
eMTe talked about putting moods/etc. as genres too so people can find very specific games. I think it is more fitting on HOTU though as their number of games will always justify more difference in games than the ligther number of games we have, but maybe we can put some other kinds of "types" in that can be choosen. Something that maybe hits every single game or close to.
Like AGS:
Short
Medium
Fullsize game
We could do our own version:
<1 hour of gameplay (Coffeebreak games)
1-3 hours of gameplay
3> hours of gameplay
That way people can get an idea of how long time they will spend on a game. It is quite annoying getting deep into a game only to have it end after 30 minutes when you expected it to last longer.
Also we could go for: (But a bit harder to justify)
Simple fun (games with no real atmosphere)
Moody (Lots of atmosphere - Cloud could fit this one)
Scary (Prodigal would fit this genre, and I dont know about the BJ games)
And we could have the genre:
TOPSHELF (Which would be all games given a PERFECT 6)
