Good job PA!
I cant remember how many posts I have done at this point, but I think you are catching up on me...
I was at a reunion yesterday for my old high school class, and I had so much fun, but this did result in me being out cold all day. I have been hanging over the toilet and felt miserable all day. Worst hangover EVER!
But had a blast, and I spent the day up until the party with Tanja, Anna and my 2 year old nephew in the Zoo, so I really had a great day yesterday. It seems however that I am paying for that by having a miserable day today...
I dont think my stomah can cope with coffee just yet, so I will take a glass of water and sit in a dark corner... And try not to breathe too loudly people...

Y'know, Pater, I almost think that for once in my life (I don't touch alcohol) that I could use a beer or something. My lower back and right side hurt like hell- I got a bad back, and I've got a ton of computer work to finish soon.
Some good news though- I will have a place out of my home to build computers at. Since the corner store won't be ready for quite a while, a non-profit organization I to tech work for, the Youth Conservation Corps, is letting me use some of their office space for a shop as long as I need to, the first 6 months I don't pay any rent either. I already sell their clients computers, and this will be a good thing for all concerned.
Just got Waukegan city clearance to do this on Friday, so everything is set to move in soon. All these machines will be out of my place, and I'll have a real home again!

Believe me: None of these things will get better when you start drinking alcohol. But maybe you will get a that bad hangover that you forget about the rest of your sorrows...Railwaymodeler wrote:Y'know, Pater, I almost think that for once in my life (I don't touch alcohol) that I could use a beer or something. Bad luck! Went to a club tonight to see the crazy Finns of "Eläkeläiset". But when there were just five more people in front of me in the queue, they closed down the ticket sale and told the show was sold out. Waited another half an hour to see if they will let any more people in, but the place was totally overcrowded. So no Humppa for me tonight...
But that will leave with the time to validate one or two games.

I'm relieved to hear that. It's good to see I'm not the only person on this planet who doesn't touch alcohol. Kudos to you Raillo!Railwaymodeler wrote:Y'know, Pater, I almost think that for once in my life (I don't touch alcohol) that I could use a beer or something. [...]

And it's good to hear that, about the new office/shop.

I just noticed again that programming sucks. At least for me.

Contratulations PA for the 3000+ posts!

That reminds me. I forgot to say I dont smoke for 1 & 1/2 month. Or so. This is longer than last time(s) and I have crisis behind me (you know, the moment where you're in pub and start thinking how beer and cigs fit together).

Good work eMTe...! It is always nice when it succeeds for someone, as it really does take a lot to quit. I was just extremely lucky that my quitting went so easy. The 25 or so times I tried quitting before that ... well that kind of holds its own answer....!
And Raillo - congrats on the store. It must feel amazing and give a sense of going somewhere with what you like...!

Ugh... I'm sick, sick, sick... had crazy fever dreams all night, for the three hours I might possibly have slept... everything hurts... pfft... gotta go do some more rumbling in the bed, and not of the good kind...
Guess I shouldn't have walked home at 4 in the morning yesterday, wearing only a windbreaker (and flashing everybody I met on the way!), uhm, and a frickin' T-shirt and dress pants. Maybe it was a little too soon for that... Crap...

Sad to hear Scyth
Perhaps that means you're too weak to comment on that big, ugly devilish head at the middle of forum index
Yea Yea.I know, most of you just hate it
Don't worry, it can be taken out easily ^_^;
mm... I did some cleaning in feedback forums. It was getting difficult to find more recent posts after Chroelle performed his massive attack against old topics
They can now be found from Archived Requests subforum - readable, but not writable.
And lastly...
Happy Bday BigG!!!!

I actually think the big devil-head in the middle of the forum is a great idea... If we could maybe change the face to something that looks like a reporter or something.
BUT then again... I have before discussed the idea of making a mascot which could represent this site. He should be called Curly, and maybe his face could decorate that particular position...
I am getting re-hooked on that idea but I have no idea how to do him, where to get someone to do him, or even how he should look.
I would love it if he could look like the character-style from www.ctrlaltdel.com but I think that is wishing for much. However I have an idea how they were created but I need a specific program and some artistic skill... Has anyone seen either of these two...?
Gendo! I hope you read this sometime.
And regarding the feedback forum, then it was a good idea to make that subforum. I will clean up after myself when I am done. Everything that is locked will go in there.

Actually, now that I switched back to MazStyle, I do love the face
It simply suits that style

Meows turned into News. Apart from this... Hm.
By the way, do we really need boxes like "pages visited" or "users with most posts"? I mean, do we need them on mainsite and are they interesting for anyone but us?
Oh well, I'll better stick to bugtracker with such questions.
What is windbreaker??

@Chroelle, I can tell you a windbreaker coat is a light jacket. But 'Breaking wind' means to fart, which is of course different altogethe. LOL
Was on a single work order for 8 hours today, installing new computers in an office and networking them both to the internet and to a print network. And I was working alone. Man, am I tired. Someone pour me a cup of coffee? The stronger the better!
