I doubt that he will see it since his last visit here was about 20 months ago. But nonetheless: Happy Birthday, mistergreen!!!

Nice to see that my review of Simutrans was accepted. My only question is, why was it only rated a four out of six? Anyone care to read and comment? Harsh criticism welcome, it's the only way I'll improve.

At this time it was not me who rated it, so I cannot tell the reasoning behind the grade you got. But 4 is not bad at all, I have given general quidelines as follows:
Maz wrote: 6/6 A really exceptional review, which just simply "hits me". Almost impossible to get.
5/6 Superb review, nothing to really complain about.
4/6 Great review, only 1 or 2 small things that could be corrected/added.
3/6 Good review, still lots abowe average in other sites.
2/6 Good review, but lacks of personality/something
1/6 review which would be getting average rating on other sites...
0/6 reviews from bad to nice, but no top quality.

It was me who rated it. I think it could have been a bit longer. It lacks some depth and I missed some more details about game principles, controlling, technical stuff etc...

Good guidelines there Mazzi.
I think I will think those in when I write my reviews... (One of the things I plan to do when I am on leave...)

Please, when you validate a review, always send a PM explaining why it was rated as it was, preferably suggesting ways to improve upon it and asking if the reviewer wishes to take the chance to do so. Unless you think it's best the way it is, of course.

Oh, and I no longer seem to be receiving review notifications (after I changed my email?), or I would have handled this one.

And another thing: You can't give the review 0 points.

0==rejected :)
(Can you reject a review?)

mm. You switched email Scyth? Did you change the email in real life, and forgot to update it in your profile, or did you change email in your profile? It may be I have hardcoded your email in the code, so it is not updated when email in profile is changed.. I need to check that :)

Apparently I forgot to change it in my profile. Or rather, I forgot to give my password so the change would actually be done. My bad. Fixed now. :D

Ok, I keep this in mind! I just took care of the review, because it was there for about two weeks by now and no one did anything to get it up to the site...

Well, just to let you all in on it, my cat is still living, which means she has now exceeded the vet's estimate. She's eating, but cat food no longer agrees with her, so I buy turkey for her and shred it for her.

Annie is very weak though, and barely can walk at this point, so I'm afraid her time is coming soon. There are times she seems to not even have enough energy to purr for me.

Nice, but still sad to hear.
I feel for your situation Raillo. I lost my dog some years ago, and I still miss it from time to time. But more of a "remembering it" miss, than a "want it back" miss.

Hi there chaps, nice to see you all.

Would someone please, bring drinks for me and my family.

And while you'er at it, tell me what the news are (everything I missed since last time I visited) and please explain why is MY BAR CLOSED - and who was the responsible for it.

I can't promise I'll stick around much since I must keep an eye for all these people now.

* SGSW hits with his cane the bots and waiters *

Oh And Happy Birthday to Chillum and to everyone I missed.

Here's some beer for you and your whole family...

:morebeer:  :beersong:

Nice to see you around! It's been a long time since we last saw you.

So, what's new? We're trying hard to make this place a better freeware site. Regarding the games we're doing well (we have about 200 to offer now). There are also some interviews with developers, a few reviews, walkthroughs etc. And Zyx and Maz are doing a great job and present us many nice features and tools for the site.

Many of the old members left or just come by every few months (Ogre, Dizi, mistergreen, Chillum, Baldie), some new joined, but we're still lacking manpower (especially designers).

Your bar was closed, because at one point there was a bug that made problems and Maz thought it was because of the very long threads (the ones with many pages). So all these threads were closed (to be honest it wasn't that many) and a new bar was opened. Don't remember clearly who was responsible for it, but I think it is Maz, you have to hit with your cane...:oldrant:

So far about the news (and I'm sure there were many, many more things you missed).

Hey there gents!
Long time...like the banners, by the way! :D

Been trying to find time to get back here, but work and life as I know it has been taking it's toll. I barely use my computer at home anymore. And if I do, it's only to check my e-mail and what not.

Got an email the other day from Facebook, congrats to Curly for winning the latest movie challenge

And finally got around to playing Blue Dragon, but realized the copy I got has no instruction manual. Sooo...its just a little more challenging than I would have thought.

Anyways, I'm hoping with the better weather, the traffic here won't stink as much and I can get from my work to home in a decent amount of time, so I will have tonnes of time to validate more...

Cheers gents, let me buy everyone a drink! :TGIF:

I still haven't managed to finish Blue Dragon. Do yourself a favor and play Lost Odyssey instead. Now that's a good RPG!

And happy birthday Chiller! If you're around. :cake:

Hiya SGSW! Long time no see. :D
How long has it been?
I am glad to see you here. It is always nice when people drop by again. I am guessing that you used the www.forum.connect-webdesign.dk entrance and not the www.curlysworldoffreeware.com one :D
(That was another piece of news for you.)

And :birthday: Chill!
I hope you drop by and see this.

And on a more personal note... I am now officially on leave from work, so I might get some time to do some stuff for CWF properly.

The next couple of days are a bit hectic though. Tomorrow we are going to the Zoo with Anna and my nephew, and after that I am going to a high school musica...no...reunion to see some guys (and girls)I haven't seen in 10 years. Thank you Facebook. We got almost everyone (20 something) people to come.
Saturday is chore-day in my apartement complex, so if my hangover wont keep me lying down then my hands are tied to that.
Sunday should be a day of rest, and I hope it will be.
Monday is all about Tanja having her last day of leave before going back to work, for the first time in a year and a half. Tanja had to stop working in week 7 of the pregnancy due to nausea and hyperemesis (which is what gave us that awful pregnancy). So she has to be pampered and comforted... She is not all that happy about leaving us home...

Chiller receives :Birthday: from me, but to be honest, he deserves positive kick. We're gonna find you and bring you back, you'll see.
