Right at the moment the site acts exactly the way it did about a year ago. Took me forever to reach it again today. Hope the Surftown guys get it going faster than the last time... :viking:

It is acting up for me too. I talked to Maz again this morning and he says that Zyx think it might be a DoS attack. (An attack that hits a website with so many requests that it causes extreme slowdowns and errors in the database.) (If I understand it correctly).

That would of course mean that I am bound to write an apology to surftown...But I will wait for a second before I do something like that... At least until we know what happened.

On the other hand, this gave me time to try out Alien Arena. :D

I noticed there was a spambot dropping in the 'But Seriosly' forum. Wonder if that has anything whatsoever to do with anything?

I just noticed something new. Maybe not new, new, but Ive never seen this before- download validation. Good idea, but the question (How many fingers are on one human hand) is misleading. I answered '5', knowing one was a thumb, and doesn't count really. That question has an ambiguious answer, depending if the thumb counts.

Good idea, but went FUBAR. I shouldn't have to second-guess the answer.

I did not know thumb is not a finger either :/ And DL validation is necessary in order to stop bots from accessing to our DLs and generating heavy traffic. But changing the question/answer pair is not hard, if someone can come up with universally known question... I am open for all suggestions.

Maybe we should ask: "Is a thumb a finger?"...

Are toes ambigious as well?

Or we could just ask for the circumference of the moon? :D

They will stay untill someone (I am not pointing at anybody - unhappy with those banners) will provide me better ones. I grew tired of staring the hastily created, ill sized, text banners stored in file called CWF_templogo.jpg... I hope these bother your eyes a bit more than the ones we had earlier, so someone will finally provide me better banners... And if that does not happen, I can go uglier too

Actually, I am quite happy with the banners, but unfortunately they do not fit in subsilver color scheme.

I wish I had any artistic talent, because these are probably the ugliest ones I've ever seen. :p (said with a wink and a nudge, of course)

Well we have them somewhere. I think it is safe to say that we can use them now.
So if anyone feel like adding them please do so. :D

Well, I'm going for a short holidays. To Warsaw. :P Strange indeed, to go for holidays from the city to even bigger city, but hey, what if you havent been there since school trip and short, not worth mentioning, visit on stadium concert. ;)

See ya in Tuesday. Unless I'll grab laptop or other means of communication there, but Id prefer not to. 8)

Have great trip eMTe!
I am still counting down to my time off. Wednesday 5 pm.... Seems a bit far off, and still so close. I am getting along good with my projects and I even took in another client at Connect-webdesign even though I promised myself I would take a break, but this one is just too good to pass on.
