Welcome back Pater and thanks for the coffee. Glad I don't have to get up and make some myself.

C'mon put on a 3-way-bet with Argentina, Holland and Germany all winning, hope no one messes up (I fear Germany will)

970 visitors have currently passed by today (bots and humans). That means we are most likely hitting the 1000 visits mark today, and that means, even more importantly, that we move into a new prizeclass on ads. If we can keep the numbers in that league then our adprices will rise. But we wont see the effect most likely for 5 days... So lets wait and see. Now I made a bookmark so I can find it later and see in 5 days time...

Germany is leading 1-0. That's good, although it's quite a weak game yet...

You shouldn't have betted on Holland...

Edit: I take back everything I said. They really turned the game. :scared:

Wow.... Germany wins 4-0. Good work.

Austria loses 3-4 against the Netherlands after leading 3-0!! That's weak but a strong dutch match.

Hi people! I think I have morphed into a robot. I've been working 20+ hours a day lately. Anyone thinking of Lex right now? LOL. Anyway, I am building laptops like crazy, and making quick sales recently. eBay has been helping with sales too.

On a much sadder note, I took my cat Annie to the vet because she had discharge coming from her eyes. He found a maliginant tumor in her stomach, and she has about 2 weeks or less to live. So I've been building a coffin for her out of oak plywood, and getting emotionally ready for her passing. She's been my cat for 15 years now, so she's certainly left her pawprints on my heart.

Anyway, to distract myself from reality when not working, I've been getting into gaming a bit more, so expect some things from me soon.

We do agree SF :( Where's our lovely Darzie BTW? I haven't seen her in ages. Is she still on OG? Actually, is the OG still alive 'n kicking?

I haven't seen her in ages. Maybe we should try and do some shout-outs to old members to see if they respond... I remember a certain thread about not being forgotten somewhere...

The site is still quite slow tonight, but at least it is back (after I couldn't reach it the whole day). Hope the problems we had last year won't come back...

But as long as the bar is open, I'll take a beer!

Me and Maz talked over ICQ in the meanwhile, and it seems it was Surftown who decided to do some databasestuff which shut us down (and did it once more just a minute ago).
I have not heard from them neither before nor after the incident, and I have complained to them making it clear that I will not tolerate such poor service, since we just asked developers in large numbers to come to the site, and they arrive at a blank page with not even an automated error message... That really pulls our reputation down I think...
And I told them! So I hope they will see that they need to do something about this. Hopefully an apology as the very least is on its way.
