Mr Stumps Dentures

Post by Chroelle »

Well this wacky game is pretty much a gem according to more than one source. Mr stump is an alcoholic and after trying his luck with battery acid he takes on a rather weird journey.

Shift = start game, jump
arrows = move

I'm not impressed! The graphics are ugly, the level design is boring and I can't see any kind of innovation or a new element added to the platform genre.

The game is playable and it might be ok if you never played a platform game before, but to be honest there are many, many better freeware platform games out there.

To add a bit of colour to the discussion I feel level design + enemy variety is greatest strength of this game. Biggest flaw is necessity of finishing game in one go in order to get access to passwords. Author says "hey, it's hard, but not impossible", I say "sure it isnt, but how it makes the game better?".
