I dont remember playing such a surprising game. Surprising is the best word here. With each game Grundislav shows that he's one of the best storywriter in AGS world. The story in Case 3 is close to best ones seen in classic adventure games (leaving technical side and game length aside).
Cant wait to play Case 4 as soon as I finish this one. Because I finished it only twice...and still it's not completely finished.
And I must lure Grundislav to the forum somehow and ask him why this wooden stick is chasing Ben around the world.

The best "Ben Jordan" game so far. Compared to case one and two there is a slight progress regarding the graphics and a great progress regarding the music and soundtrack.
But best of the game is the story. It is is dense and atmospheric this time and it has some story twists that you won't see coming. Story even branches at one point, so there are two different endings and the game gains some replaybility this way.
On the other hand "Ben Jordan: The Sorceress of Smailholm" is still quite easy. Puzzles always follow the same scheme and it's nearly impossible to get stuck. But I think most players will at least have to play twice to reach a perfect score...

This one is quite all right. You can actually miss points, and there's different paths in the game. On the other hand, it's not all that hard, and unfortunately the way to progress for most of the game is revisiting locations over and over again.
Plotwise, this one is at least interesting, especially compared to #2(!) The characters are also a little more believable and stand out more this time around.
