Double dragon - fists of rage

Post by Chroelle »

Double dragon is one of the classic themes that would later become a trademark to be printed on all kinds of actiongames. The genre is almost sidescrolling beat 'em ups, and it is mostly worth it, for a quick play through.

This one is no exception. You can play single or multiplayer (i only tried single player though) and I had quite a fun time playing it.

I think the game was a great way to spend soem time, and I was entertained fully. I think Streets of rage has some features that this game could use, but at the same time this is all you need from a Double Dragon game.

I had no problems to finish the first mission. But right in the beginning of mission two (the construction site) I'm stuck. There are no opponents and no items (as far as I can see), but I'm just not able to leave the screen and go on. Is it a bug or do I miss something?

Now I did.
In the beginning of the first mission you have to climb a fence. Its a wirefence to the righ of a door or something. It is in the first picture so you cant move right or left. You have to go upwards. Did that solve it for you?

Thank you!

After I knew what to do it was ridiculous easy. But it would've been nice if the game would've given you some info hint about what to do at this point (I was trying to destroy the fence or start the vehicle instead).

Most of the times it points with a "GO" arrow towards your direction, but this is actually not that clear at this particular place. It is the first time you encounter a wirefence you can climb, and the arrow doesn't show up until you are on the fence.
