Windows port of Xkobo, one of the best freeware games for Linux systems, designed by Akira Higuchi.
Your objective is to destroy all the fortresses on the screen by shooting laser beams at them. You control your ship by pressing the cursor keys or moving the mouse, and shoot by pressing SHIFT or left mouse button. That's all there is to the game - but that's more than enough to keep you glued to the screen. Crisp graphics, nonstop action, plenty of enemy fire from 360 degrees, and smooth gameplay make Wkobo one of the best coffee break games around.

I had fun with it for about half an hour, but I don't feel the urge to return to it (even if I might in the future). Game could have been better with some more sound or music and a full screen option. And it is not bug-free. Sometimes my radar froze, so it was hard to keep orientation for the rest of the game.
But after all Wkobo is quite a nice coffe-break game and you can have some fun with it if you just have some minutes left.
