This is the sequel to "GameBiz" (I think that wasn't too hard to find out because of name). Again you start with a small company and it's your goal to become the most successful producer of computer games...

The game is much more complex than "GameBiz" (for example you have to develop engines before you can start developing games) and it has a very professional look now.

It is a re-boost of the ideas in Gamebiz (1) with avengeance. Way more advanced and way more complicated. I like this though as it is forming into being a game you would want to spend alot more time on. It has alot more on the graphical side now than its prequel and you still wont care to much for it, as Gamebiz is clearly about gameplay.

Unlike the first GameBiz, I was left utterly confused by this one. Sure I managed to create an engine and build some games, but I was never able to get positive cash flow, at any point in the game, on the easiest level... Now, either I just don't get it, or I just don't get it. Maybe I'm not the best business simulation player out there, but to be met with failure no matter what I try is just plain frustrating.

I didn't care much for the new graphics, especially since there seemed to be a problem with fitting the text inside the boxes, and the music was all bad (but probably didn't break copyright this time around). Add to that that I was very confused by the interface, and often went looking for things that I just gave up on finding, and I was at no point entertained by this sequel. Shame, since I enjoyed the first game a lot.

I like the game it as it is much more complex than the prequel. It's still hard to create games that are successful and will earn your money, but it's possible without any doubt (I nearly made +700.000 dollars with my second game).

And I like the idea that you have to create an engine first, before you can create games as well as the possibility to build your own factory and can act as your own pubisher.

Graphics are improved, but I don't care so much for it. The game is still a hardcore simulatiom for people who like lots of statistics (so what do you need the graphics for?).

Minor flaws are the fact that it doesn't use the old computer tunes as the prequel does and that it doesn't have the original games' names (probably both because of copyright issues).
I was also a bit annoyed about the reminder that shows up every few hours to ask for donations. I mean I can understand why the developer chose to set up a thing like that (everyone wants to cover his expenses), but it would've been ok to ask for donation just once.

I'm glad I didn't play it for a few hours, if there's a donation reminder... that really ruins it for me... but no matter, I'd much rather play the first one again than this sequel.
