Magic Reversi

Post by eMTe »

Reversi (also known as Othello) is one of the modern board games (modern means not known in ancient China, India or medieval Europe ;) ). If youve never played it check it - gameplay is as simple as only can be - you play against your opponent placing your pieces on 8x8 board, trying to capture all opponents ones. More info is available here:

Reversi

Magic Reversi is probably the best computer Reversi game I found in web. Lots of difficulty levels (it's hard to beat comp even on kiddy level and even if you know basic rules), great graphics, 3 different sets of pieces, possibility of playing online with your friend. And amazing playability - the game glues to the screen for hours.

If youll download the game and like it please tell me - an online match or two would be cool. 8)

Reversi (or Othello) is one of the first games I learned, but not one I'll ever say that I've mastered. I can certainly beat the computer on the easier difficulty levels, but you need both strategy and foresight to really excel at this board game. Good game for those among us that prefer something non-violent, or something to challenge the mind.

I had fun playing it while waiting for a burn process to finish, and that is the use that this game has. Its the same as playing solitaire on your computer - ONLY BETTER!
I still use it to entertain myself whenever a tedious task has to be run in the background on my computer. I even installed it at work so I can play it down there to.
