Dizzy inspired, but better than its predecessors. Cant help, I must call it a gem.

I simply love the easter egg hidden in one of the towers in the kings castle...
Other than that I think the game is great and I have been playing it for some time now. I do however think that it is a little bit difficult to remember what to do other than the main objective... I got a letter and after finding lots of other objects which I could not carry and was getting quite confused with what was to go where, I totally forgot who the letter was for, and I had to go through every single person I met trying to give them the letter... That was rater annoying...
However the gamplay is good enough to make you come back and see if you can figure out what to do where, but how many times I do not know.

Goody goody. I gotta get that.
I really loved Spuds Quest, and it annoyed me when I had to put it down, because there were other games to validate...
I will return with this version

I was a bit concerned about the big update after the Total-klick site had gone, but Chris Davis is still working on the final version of Spud's Quest. He announced that it will be 3 times as big as the original game.

Re: Spud's Quest
Luckily, we have freeware version. But Spud's Quest certainly deserves further development.

Re: Spud's Quest
Judging from the trailer the "new game" will have a lot more arcade/platform elements than the old one. The developer also says that it will be at least four times as big as the freeware version (which he doesn't like very much). A demo should be available next week.

Were graphics and animations enhanced a little? It's ages since I played Spud's Quest, so it may be just an impression.

Re: Spud's Quest
I'm a little surprised (because it looked really bad in the first weeks), but the Kickstarter campaign made it. Seems I really have to pay 5 pounds soon....
