Netstorm - islands at war

This game is excellent. If you dont think this is a good game, then you must have downloaded the wrong game somehow...

Original gameplay
Original ressource-system
Original idea

You play as a civilization based in a cloudy world. Not cloudy as in never sunny, but cloudy as in you walk around the clouds on islands floating in the sky.
You harvest energy from geysers, and use it to get hold of enemy priests that you must sacrifice on your altar for more knowledge.
Meanwhile you are producing golems to do your bidding and placing defensive cannons to take out the enemies assaults. Abd did I mention the bridges...?
Heck - go play it. This is great. Great graphics too.

Dang, I'm always late.

A couple of hours more and Id have been writing that this is great game and I contacted Activision...

There are also several servers around the web where you can play against human opponents, but I'm not sure what is their status.

Yes. But it is unfortunetely also abandonware. I am trying to get permission to host it. That is the only reason I am letting it stay here...
