That must be very rough on the country. I read that it is more or less out of control. I remember something about every day 40 fires are put out, but 60 new fires emerge...
To bring you up to speed on my situation. Scythe it seems someone heard you. Tanja had the surgery last night and woke up this morning. She is feeling crappy but it is nothing compared to how bad she has been feeling.
I have been at work all day, and Anna has been taken care of by my dad and stepmom. On a day like that I really miss my little girl.
Tanja will be kept in the hospital for propably two more days, and then she gets to go home, but she cant do anything for a week, so I took thrusay and friday off from work to take care of Anna and also to rest a bit after this whole pangria/gallbladder affair. I hope I can get some time in here, but I am not making any promises as that got me in trouble the last couple of times.
And on another note. Scythe I just got Pans Labyrinth yesterday. I haven't seen it yet, but I do look forward to doing so. I remember you praising it in the cinema thread.
Have a good night all of you, and all beverages are on me.

I was at the dentist's today. She did her evil stuff, and all was well... until tonight. Pain, pain, pain. My tooth seems to have moved slightly, probably some swelling, hurts like all hell. I hope it's just for a day or so. She told me to expect some "aching" (apparently that means "screaming pain" in dentistsh).
I picked up Pan's Labyrinth myself the other day, and I'm going to watch it again tonight, since I'm not likely to get much sleep what with the wicked tooth.

I feel bad for you Scythe. I must admit it has been WAY too long since my last visit to the dentist. I am not too keen on the idea...
I have decided that I have to make an appointment in the next weeks time, but I am very reluctant to picking up the phone, and the tale of the evil tooth written in here, is not a big incitament either...
Feel better soon Scythe.

Well, you can't expect something to be wrong after all. I only went because I already knew there was something wrong, otherwise I wouldn't have gone anytime soon.
Regular check ups are wise. Unfortunately, it still hurts pretty bad. I managed 3 hours of sleep around seven this morning, and have tried to sleep occasionally all day. Head hurts from lack of sleep too. But the tooth settled back a little, which was what allowed me to sleep, it's just not quite well yet. I hope to be able to sleep for real tonight, had to call in sick today. Rest is clearly going to fix this, but falling asleep with a pounding ache in your jaw is hard! Every time my heart beat last night, there was a burst of pain in the tooth. Ouch - ouch - ouch - ouch. Stops being amusing very quickly!
I hope Tanja gets to go home tomorrow! While weak, she should be all better after this. After all, I said so!

Could you say it again -and this time louder....I hope Tanja gets to go home tomorrow! While weak, she should be all better after this. After all, I said so!
Tanja is still sick as a dog in the hospital. They have done yet another gastronoscopy on her this morning. She started throwing up blood yesterday and they wanted to see why that was.
They are now treating her again, and hoping this will help her get better very soon. Boy am I tired of this situation. Fortunately for me I held on to my two vacation days today and tomorrow, which I was close to cancelling when Tanja had the surgery monday instead of today.
Well, coffee is on me!
Regarding Pans Labyrinth, is it a couples movie, or should I watch it alone? I am trying to figure out if I should wait on Tanja getting home to watch it with me.

Because of the whole situation with Tanja, I decided to take two weeks off from work. My boss (whos name is Boss - accidentally) already agreed on it. Unfortunately it is leave without pay, so no dough for me...
I simply realised that I need to dedicate more time to my family, and not hanging somewhere between work and home... (In case you were wondering, this is part of home, so I am not taking leave from CWF.)
I am not going to say that I will have more time than I have had the last 6 weeks, but it will at least help me relax more.
Beers are on.... Well someone else. I better save myself some money for things like rent and food.

I'll pick up the tab! Beers are on me...
@Chroelle, use as much of your free time to focus on your family, get them back up in tip-top shape. Family first.
...then CWF.
...then beer.
...although beer's more like a glue that holds most things together. I know my family would be doomed without beer.

...I think we need two parallel hirarchies to do beer justice.
First family_______________Beer
...then CWF______________Beer

...more beer_____________more beer.
