I am now the official owner of a dead tooth. Still inside my mouth. And for about three hours, I was the owner of excruciating pain. I spent those three hours... walking. It took me 1½ hours to walk home from the dentist, then I started strolling around the nearby lake, trying not to double over and start screaming. Taking another step gave me something to focus on. Finally, the pain subsided to a dull ache, and now it's just where the oh, so nice dentist sedated me that hurts. Oh, have I mentioned my fast metabolism? The sedative started wearing off while she was filling the cavity. Thankfully not while drilling, but still half an hour before she said it would... ouch.

I had to call in sick at work, because my ability to concentrate was severely compromised, and besides, I didn't get much more than an hour's sleep last night.

Now, the tooth ought to be dead, but there are still some nerves around it that are telling me that they aren't. Plus I have an infection in my root canals or something. The oh, so nice dentist didn't want to put me on penicillin unless it got worse, so I'm still stuck with some pain and fever from that. *sigh* Yeah, I postponed that dentist's visit for too long, but I knew it wouldn't be pretty. Going back into the trenches in another two weeks to lay the finishing touches if everything looks all right again by then.

Joy.

Well, I know how it is Scyth... I had a bit similar appointment with my dentist at the spring.. And now, 3 visits later she finally told me that after the next visit the tooth should be compeletely dead, and she would put permanent fill in the cavity...

But I will not get out of it so little. At last week they started to operate another tooth of mine - similar procedure is to be expected with it... I assume I should fix the rest of the holes too, before the dentist gets the pleasure of killing all of my teeth.. :/

Sex sells!!! "Buffy: Call of the Siren" is our most popular download now. Maybe we should have more adult games on our site...

@MAZ Thankfully, the rest of my teeth appear to be fine. Though they haven't stood to close scrutiny this year, so who knows. This was kind of an emergency. My first cavity... may it be the last.

@PA I knew that, which was why I put it up as quickly as possible. ;) Do you know more adult freeware games? :p

Eehm.......of course not! ;)

To be serious, I know some adult games, but I think they are abandonware or shareware and not freeware (like "Knights of Xentar", "Three Sister´s Story" or "Paradise Heights"). I was looking for adult freeware some time ago, but most stuff I found was browser and flash games.

You're right, none of those are freeware. I know them already. ;) And of course I love Knights of Xentar - it's really good. I've been playing a game recently not unlike KoX, called "Rance VI", which is entirely in Japanese, so took a little while to figure out... Not freeware either.

I may actually know of some freeware myself... let me just check if I'm right.

And another record: We got four new members today (don´t think we had so many since the site started). It would be nice if some of the new members would become active member (I think there wasn´t a new post from a new member for a very long time).

So to encourage them: FREE BEER!!!!

And also for those that missed out on the info...
We now have 20 Gigs of space instead of 5, so PA, lets load up some big games. :D
(Chroelle is once again reminded that he doesn't have time).

Good news though. Tanja got her second results today, and they seemed to be pointing in the right direction, so she is alot closer to being well again.
This also means of course that I am alot closer to being able to spend time in here. I do however have a lot of work to do, and some coding to learn, but I will go to great lengths to be able to add a couple of games in here a week at least.

Glad to hear Tanja is doing better :) It must've been hard...
...

Well, what comes to the space, it's a bit odd. At surftown main page it indeed shows 20 GB space, but the 'web shell file manager' shows we have used 95% of our free space... O_o

More than one can imagine!

GEtting told that your babygirl might not grow up with her mom, is nothing short of devastating. I think you can relate to the feeling MAz. I am sure that lots of our members can actually. A few of you I have talked to about similar subjects in the past I remember. More precisely when I just found out that my ex didn't survive the cancer we fought together.
I am a bit tired of the girls I love being extremely ill. And some of them actually dying from it.

Well but this was good news, so thanks for the congrats on being better, and Champagne for everyone. REal champagne, not just the sour, bubbly, white crap you get some places.

Gack! I just can't catch a break. The infection in my root canals died down... but then the wound where the dentist applied the sedative gets infected! For crying out loud...

Don't fall in love with me, Chroelle, I'm being as much trouble as your girls. ;) Ok, maybe in not quite in mortal danger yet, but it would be nice if my mouth would stop hurting soon.

DAngnabbit. And here I was developing a warm fuzzy feeling for you.

I actutally came in here to toast to the Gamevsgame voting feature on the frontpage of this site. I am totally addicted. I think I have spent accumulated an hour simply voting in the last couple of days. It is totally addictive. There are some game I just wont vote on though. I had a Fleafall vs Leylines just now, and I cant decide which of these two games I love the most. So I use those situations to stop voting.

Same here! I always vote until there are games that I don´t know or until I can´t decide which game I like best ("The Spirit Engine" vs. "Pushover" - hard choice). Very addictive feature!!!

I did a 'display results' page for Game Vs Game voting. Currently it is only accessible if using MazStyle. (from mainsite, where the current champion is announced). I still have a little problem with the code, so I will not be adding it to all styles before that issue is solved. But I believe it is not a major thing, so I think it'll be solved during next week :)
