Rosangela Blackwell is a troubled young woman living in New York City. Orphaned since she was five and her only relative locked up in an insane asylum, all she wants is to be left alone. She is a writer, and enjoys a small if notable success in the field. Her quiet and introverted lifestyle is soon shattered with the arrival of deceased 1940s lounge singer Joey Mallone. Rosa, it seems, is a medium, and Joey is her spirit guide. It is Rosa and Joey’s reluctant destiny to free the world from all spiritual ills, whether they want to or not.

Game was released in 2003 as freeware product and gained much popularity. Subsequently it was decided for the project to be extended and redone into a proper commercial product – and thus The Blackwell Legacy was born.

I played "Bestowers of Eternity" this evening and I have to say that I´m quite disappointed. I like the story and the atmosphere, but the game is only a prologue for a bigger story and leaves you unsatisfied with a big clifhanger when the "real" story is going to begin.

Unfortunately the cliffhanger will never be solved because "The Blackwell Legacy" was made as a commercial game with a similar (or maybe the same?) story...

Blackwell is an enhanced version of Bestowers, however it's kinda short too...

A sequel to Blackwell is being made or has been made not so long ago.

Or maybe it was sequel to Super Jazz Man... Dang, Ive been out of business for too long.
