Spoolssv.dll is giving me problems

Post by Chroelle »

I get an error a minute or so after I turn on my PC that says that Spoolsv has shut down.... This means no printing, and the only solution I can find to doing something about it is to restart the application once more, and then after 30 secs or so it turns off again.

I can print while it is on, but only until it shuts down, then it starts making blank spaces.

Does anyone have a solution to this. Please hurry, since the only other solution we can find is to format the harddisk, and I really don't want to go there....
I will format tomorrow so hope to hear from anybody before this. If you see this topic after tomorrow feel free to answer it, since it might be an issue once more to someone (hopefully not me)....

Not that it's any help anymore...but I would have suggested removing the printers and Printer Ports configured. Restarting the computer and adding them again. This may reinstall the DLL file...but then again, it may not...
