Normally I never whine when I am sick, but currently I must say I feel rather decimated....
But I am still at work doing my time and more so I am not a hypocondriac who just want to skip work.
I got out my bike for the first time this year and rode it to work and afterwards to Annas kindergarten to get her, and then home again, which all in all was pretty far and up and downhill all the way. It was rather pleasing actually and I am beginning to think that I should get started on my running.

I just stumbled on this regarding visits to our site:
http://www.tranexp.com:2000/InterTran?t ... dan&to=eng
Please try to read that. It is a conversation regarding Oldgames (ANCIENT in the translation). I really had a hard time figuring out what had happened to one of our debates until I realized it was an attempt at translating a DAnish topic.

I saw that too and I think it was kind of funny that it was easier for me to understand the original danish text than the translation that was made by that program...Chroelle wrote:I just stumbled on this regarding visits to our site:

It seems we got a real sourge of visitors today. I wonder if that has anything to do with Gamehippo and our article?
See the stats here:
http://www.projectwonderful.com/adverti ... 427&type=4
If anybody reads this after the curve has passed then I can tell you that we are mostly seeing around 1000-1400 views (a bit over) these days but today we hit 3500 views. Also our unique visitor count was doubled. Interesting...
I hope this continues.

It took me a number of tries to get the frontpage to load beyond a blank page, and then a few more tries to actually log in (auto logout if the page doesn't load). This is not the first time in this past week or more. It's getting difficult to even get on the site...
...but now that I'm here, merry birthday, PA!!

I have had issues too, but I was wondering if I was the only one since I ahve been experiencing some problems with my connection. Any ideas Maz or Zyx???
I was at a bachelorparty yesterday and had a blast shooting paintball and playing discgolf, going to beertastings and generally drinking a lot. Got home late, so I am a bit on the tired and dizy side at the moment....

I have had pbs too. what comes to ideas... Same as always - we should try with another host. (I at least cannot think any real reason in CWF code/data which would cause this arbitrary behaviour - except perhaps the visitor IP tracking which I should disable.)
My obsession network related programs and protocols has created these:
epb - Ethernet Packet generator (and more)
nsn - Network status monitoring tool for linux
thongs-sniffer - network sniffing and traffic analyzing tool + ethernet packet crafter for linux (derived from nibbles)
nibbles - UDP print listener + something else
Foreverlasting projects:
http :// m-a-z.github.io/aMazPong - MazPong - revived??

I just wanted to offer all new members a free beer and a chit chat on current affairs.
Oh and at the same time - people please look by here:
http://curlysworldoffreeware.com/viewto ... 6073#26073
I have work for you.
(I will try and see if I can get it done - but do me the favor of looking it over and seeing if there are any images you can attach in a jiffy.)
eMTe: When you look in there I think it is important that you remember exactly how many games you submitted, so you dont feel bad about how many screenies you forgot. It could be WAAYYYY worse.

Feel free to grab them from the web. I dont mind, unless it is the ones we have on the gamesite, which we watermark as being ours.
We dont do that with the ones in the forum, so they are free for grabs.

Life's fine as I am on a three week holiday from work. But don't hope for lots of work to be done for the site within the next few days. I will go on a short camping trip to the eastern sea tomorrow afternoon and not return before sunday or monday.
But maybe I'll have time to add a game or two before I leave...

Cool. I am at work during schoolvacation. That means that I dont have 25 colleagues and 300 kids everyday, but more like 3-4 colleagues and 20 kids. However only a few of us are educated so there is lots of responsibility. This week for example I am the management, since the entire management is away on vacation and I am the one with most experience.
But small problems keep coming up, so I am quite busy and a bit stressed out over the fact that I have to change my entire way of working within the next 8 days, before I go on vacation, and so far I haven't had time to start it out. And next week is even more lightly staffed....
So I am busy, but once in a while I an go and sit by a computer and do some CWF stuff because I have to wait for the computer to do something before I can continue. That was why I was so much online yesterday.
