CONGRATS Mazy-mate. You know I am extremely happy for you. Anyone who hasn't had kids yet, will/can not fully appreciate just how sensational that feeling is. It is nothing short of mindblowing, and all of a sudden your family is increased by one... :D
You wont find a broader smile in this forum than mine I think. :dancing: :bananaparty2: :bananaparty: :Yahoo:

Except perhaps mine :)

And thank you everybody :) We're all fine. Junior was 52 cm tall, and weighted whole 3905 grams. And C is right when talking about mindbowling...

Somehow the whole thing was a lot easier this time. I cannot say I did know how things would proceed, or what was going on, but at least I had some kind of idea about that :) I also believe that the whole raising of this child will be easier than it was (is) with Joona. However some new concerns do emerge, like how to handle the situation so, that Joona does not feel abandoned, and can overcome the loss of quality time with us. (It is a fact that he will lose some of that time). How to handle Joonas feelings towards the newborn (interest at the moment). How to draw the lines between what Joona can do concerning the newborn, and what he cannot? And propably a hundreds of things more.

And dammit. I miss my GF and the newborn (they're still in hospital). I do also miss Joona (who's at her granma's place so I can keep working while Milla and Joona are in the hospital). The damn house feels suddenly so empty. This is strange. I usually love to be alone, I do love to do my own things, light the fire at fireplace, take a good book and read a bit, have a ciggie and perhaps a bit of whisky, chop some more wood for the fireplace, fix this and that (there's always things to fix in old house), do some programming...

Now I just sit and stare thinking that I should not be here. I feel I would belong next to my lloved ones, especially at the times like this. Times when Milla is dead tired and needs to take care of the baby, Joona has his life just changed, and the lil one has just begun his (hopefully) loooong journey. This feels so odd.

I know this is the best way to do this, since I really cannot afford losing any piece of my payment at this month. Theres a bit too big expences... And if I just work couple of more days, then I do have enough extra hours done to stay at home the rest of the month.

But somehow the reasoning does not help at all. I really cannot concentrate on anything. I am still dead tired too, but when I lay down, I cannot relax at all. This sucks.I guess I'll go out, have a ciggie, and then start reading. Perhaps I can read one page without feeling the urge to get up and do something else... Mainly stare out of window, without seeing a thing. Thinking that I should be doing something else...

Heck. Thanks god the weekend is coming, and I can get Joona back home. And hopefully Milla and the lil one can get home at saturday too :)

And at the next moment I am just smiling like a nutcase, just seeing the first moments of the new life in my eyes, again and again.

Oh, C. Thanks for yelling the wishes, It took a while before I understood that smily message O_o Having kiddos really destroy your brains! :p

How do you think my brain conjured up that smily message :D
Congrats mate once again, and of course you got the biggest smile in the forum. I was of course thinking of other than you. There is no feeling like this you just went through. And I can relate to your feeling completely. I still have that sensation of being in the wrong place when I am at work and Tanja and Anna is at home. Even more so at the moment since Anna is sick (and Tanja too, but shes a gron woman and can take care of herself). It really bugs me to leave the house before they wake up and come home dead tired and just grabbing every second I can with them.
But all of this is of course just complaining aobut how GREAT ones life is. Imagine to have kids to come home to! It is without doubt the most fulfilling thing in the world to see your kids face light up and them yelling "dada" at you when you step in the door. I recommend this to anyone!

Well I just announced a new contest, and this time around for money! I simply wanted to shove CWF in the right direction as soon as possible. Consider it a X-masgift to CWF!
All of this was actually inspired by the amount of visits we had today. When I entered the forum after work and giving Anna dinner the visitorcount was as high as it usually is at midnight on a normal day. And this was 6 hours before...!
At that point we had 345 visitors. I checked our PW ads (where we are the advertiser) and they are not doing too well, so I wanted to get that moving too, so I am pretty certain that there will be more clicks when it is obvious what we are doing.

Btw: What happened to our "Christmas Avatar Contest"? Was it cancelled when eMTe disappeared (anybody knows when he will be back?)?

I think it was postponed and might become a christmas/newyears contest. I am not sure when eMTe will return.

I just wrote Ruda Lisica about eMTe, and I hope she has some inside info. Could anybody fill in for him in the meantime? I am sorry but I really cant. I have so many things to get done in that new design I promised my customer would be done by X-mas and that is almost not enough time already...

That way we keep tradition. :)

A belated congrats to Maz! Sorry I haven't been around to congratulate you sooner. But I wish you and your fam all the luck in the world. Sweet news indeed. :)

I should be getting back to CWF soon, right now I am staying at my sister's house, but who knows where I'll be next week. Right now I've been hopping between my sister's and my girlfriend's house, since none of the places have parking spaces available. But I went today and found a place back in the city, so if my credit check goes through I should have a place to live in February.

The new job is going fantastic by the way! I'm doing data conversions using Oracle Warehouse Builder and programming mostly in PL/SQL. So, if anyone needs a database programmer, let me know.

Only 488 unread posts, c'mon, you can do better gals and guys. :D

Yup, I hav problems. Problems with old provider, plus probs with possible new provider, plus heaps of work before Christmas (had) and recently installed cameras which spy me all the time (checking private mail is forbidden, not to mention checking webforums. Especially about games. Hmpf). Soon after NY or even sooner I should be back.

Merry Christmas everyone.

And sorry for the contest. :(
