It wasn´t too hard because we had the same movie in the quiz at "German Corner" just two days ago (but with a different picture)...

I finally saw it this year, bought the Director's Cut with the original ending...I think it would be ruined with the "happier" ending...

Anyway, it's not Lord of the Rings For Female Teenagers, so it cant be him.
We're talking about serious movie by serious director. One of the biggest. Definitely non-Hollywoodian.
