We have had an amazing 3 day weekend, since I rescheduled my hours at work. It has been quite a great thing to be able to stay home with my girls from thursday after work to monday morning. Unfortunately the next period looks rather harsh once more for me...

Sounds good with the boardgame Scythe. It seems this is somewhat of a drinking game you play

Actually, now that I look at what's left, I didn't even drink that much. Sheesh, can't hold my liquor in my old age... and I still have a hangover! Well, maybe it's more of a "got to bed too late" hangover than a drinking one, 'cos I get these after working late as well, and it's not like I'm drunk at work (usually  ).

All around this is just a crappy day where my head insists that I shouldn't be awake, but every time I close my eyes something happens to wake me up. And I have to meet somebody tonight to go see Resident Evil 3. Now how did I get suckered into that? Well, maybe it's more about meeting this someone than seeing the movie... but I'd really like not to show up all bombed out. I gotta get a few more hours sleep...

Just one of those days...

Holy moley, that was one bad night to top off a bad day! It was just one nightmare following another, waking up, falling asleep, having yet another nightmare, over and over again! Man, my subconscious is trying to tell me something, or that Resident Evil movie really screwed me up.

Nah, I probably just feel guilty about something...

I've moved. And without internet connection at home. Not that I would have time to sit on comp though... The whole house is a mess, since I have had no time to arrange things. And the old house must be cleaned up..

Oh, and I also need to go and buy a new bed, the old one was too large to fit upstairs @_@. Oh, and generally I can announce that I hate stairs. I will perhaps post some pictures about my new house when I have my possesions properly aligned... Not that I expect anyone to really care :p

At the weekend it snowed here in Oulu. About 20 cm snow now... Heck, I wonder why the hell I do have ~2300 m^2 yard... I guess I will only shovel the road... And have nightmares about the summer and lawnmover...

Maybe Scythe was thinking of snow shoveling in his nightmares because we had snowy weather here too last night.
I think it is safe to say that everyone moving to a new place reexperiences why they initially started hating stairs.
We have been looking at a house too lately.

It seems interesting and with a good room-setup.
I dont actually know what you call this type of house in English, but straightly translated from Danish it is a "rowhouse" or "linehouse". It means the house is attached to other houses in a row or line... :...: :blahblah: :HM:

And the right word in English is in fact row house...

Just because I'm curious: How much will such a house cost in Denmark? Following your link there is a price , but as it is in Danish krones, I have no idea how much it is in euro.

That's what they call it in the US anyway...

1€ =~ 7.5 DKr. Probably slightly more right now.

Actually my nightmares involved some pretty gross stuff, like lifting lids and finding a huge "nest" of beetles that flew right into my face and stuff like that... Fun for the whole family.

So about 360.000 €
It is quite a lot but our apartement rose in value last year, so we have quite a lot more to buy for when we sell this apartement. We can only afford that particular prize if we get the full amount for our own apartment 240.000€.
But otherwise the Danish market will let you bargain currently so there is a good chance we will pay less than the 360.000 € for the house. We are hoping to get it at 320.000€
Maz is there a chance you have "for sale" pics of your new house?
Or Pager?
Who else moved recently...?

Tonight is election night in Denmark with a rather exciting election for once. Not due to who might be the winner but due to how the rest of the votes will fall out. Voters have really made a stand this time around. Big parties are being given half of their regular amount of votes and others are getting double the amount, and a new party has emerged with a rather (in)famous leader, which could give some shuffling of the votes. Also a lot of the parties have changed leaders within the time since the last election so this is truelly a shift in Danish politics.
At this point it looks like the liberal wing is gonna keep their mejority and Anders Fogh Rasmussen is keeping the office.
But at the same time Socialistic Folkparty is getting twice as many votes as last time, but their strong partner in the Socialdemocratic party is getting a beating so they cannot really threaten the Prime minister.
This is rather exciting, and I buying all an election beer and of course it is a Carlsberg - A real Danish beer.
Wether Scythe and other Danish members are opening champagne or "pouring out a little liquor" (gravøl) is of course their own business. But I wish all a good election night. Even non-danes.

Very, very simple. Very, very unexciting for me. I always vote the same. Blank every time, baby. I support democracy, but I do not support political parties and certainly not individual politicians. So no matter who wins, it's gravøl for me.

Having said that, I wish the Nihilistic Folk Party had gotten enough signatures in time...

With the election night coming to an end I started getting a head-ache and two hours after going to sleep I woke up with a thundering headache and fever. I am now on my third day with fever, headaches and stept-throat. I got penicilin today, so there is hope of a fast recovery, but I am wasted... That is also why I haven't been in here since Tuesday.
I got a lot of replies from different gamedevelopers in the meantime and I will try to tell you somewhere what they wrote back.

Get well soon! I've magically avoided any of the autumn illnesses I usually contract. Today I feel pretty terrible though, but I think that's just poor sleep. Real wooly-headed, if you know what I mean...

I am feeling better here tonight, so there is reason to believe this will be all gone in a couple of days. I still have 8 more days of penicilin though...

I got even more replies from developers today, so now we are getting links from different places, which is great. Also we are advertised on stumbleupon.com now, and currently we have today gone past 300 visitors...I still remember hoping for the damn counter to hit 100...heck I remember wishing for 50. :D
So it seems we are going places.

I was wondering if maybe your family got bigger since you did that yell. Worst thing is that it will be hard to top when he does arrive...:)
