Maria went to a consignment store today in her town, and bought some trains. She thought they would be nothing I personally would want, so she would have them ready for when the baby is born.

Well, she brought them up tonight, turns out that, for $200, there is roughly $10,000 worth of old Lionel trans in the boxes.

Hidden in the bottom of one of the boxes, was a couple rare early postwar steamer even! Lots of neat stuff too!

Good deal I would say! :girlpower:

And lots of neat stuff the baby can destroy once it is able to crawl around and reach stuff...

It was basically an example of them not knowing what they had, and not bothering to do some basic internet research. Oh well, our gain!

Isn't that ALL the other threads in some of our forums? :)

I am happy because preparations for my company as a consultant is going the right way - which is also why I dont have as much time in here ATM. Things are looking up, and my boss has decided that he want to make me "THE GO-TO-GUY" on a whole new IT-platform that my "kommune" is having installed in a couple of years. That means I am going places... And the right ones too.

I am constantly happy because of this Youtube video.

Considering that this is live, it's really phenomenal. Shame they never recorded it, I'd pay good money for a studio version.

I am happy, because I finished work today and it means six free days. I am also happy, because my friend who works in England comes to Cracow tomorrow and there's going to be a meeting between many old friends. The first snow fell today, I watched another episode of Poirot. I'm one big happiness. ;)

Ive just checked my mail and found 16 messages. Well, not the usual spam, they are all "Christmas wishes". From banks, forums Ive registered in the past etc. Makes one think what is "Christmas", what is "celebration" and what is "wishes" nowadays. Amongst many more things.

Ive also received three smses. And two Facebook "pms". All important ones. They all show what will be important in future.

And this is why I'm happy. 8)

Ive just discovered a secret held by people talking via internet. It took a couple of years and thousands of words exchanged, but at least now I know something.

I am not happy though, I can use it for both good and evil goals.

Well, it's technically possible, but hard. It's a collection of sentences that people use when they answer, but in fact want to hide something, dont want to answer or simply lie. Something you can find on humorous websites or in Woody Allen's Annie Hall (famous scene!), but not that funny, because people lie in practically every sentence. It's nothing ingenious, really, we all know there are specific codes of behaviour in real-life (lying person looks to his/her upper left corner), but internet makes lies almost undecipherable. Almost.
