I downloaded the latest version of the game and now everything works fine. Thank you for that!
Looks like a good Super Mario clone and it's fun to play so far, but I've just played a couple of levels and haven't tried the 2-player mode and the editor. I will tell you my oppinion as soon as I've played the game some more.

It can open the game now, but i'm having another problem, which wasn't in the previous. It can't register more than 2 keyboard buttons at once. So if i'm running (M + Arrow key), and i wan't to jump over a pit, i'm in for a bad surprise because it won't register the third button pressed down. (M + Arrow key + N)

This is actually a pretty common thing, it's called 'keyboard jamming' or 'keyboard ghosting'. It's different from keyboard to keyboard. Some keyboards have no problem with this at all, while others can only register a few keys at a time. Looks like you have the latter. (StarCraft was notable for having issues with keyboard jamming as well). You might be able to get away with using more simultaneous keys if you change the control scheme around. Maybe using the CTRL, ALT, Shift, or Space buttons. Let me know if that helps so I can change around the default keys. Check out this PDF file if you want a more in-depth explanation: http://www.dribin.org/dave/keyboard/keyboard.pdf

I tried changing the keys to Z, X and C, and it works now. Thank you.
When i said that the problem wasn't in the previous version, i wasn't completely right, because that was on my laptop PC. Now i'm using my stationary. It could very well have had the same problem in the previous version, since it wouldn't run at all.
I don't know if you should change the default key configuration, since like you said, it's different from keyboard to keyboard. This just works on mine. A lot of small arcade games i know are using the Z and X keys as standard, but that wouldn't be very practical in case you're playing 2-player in this game. But then again, that's just trifles.

Z and X as standard keys are never a good idea even if it is used a lot by developers. On german keyboards the position of Z is changed with the Y (between T and U) and that makes games with standard keys Z and X nearly unplayable for german players (as long as you don't have the option to change it).
Ok sorry, that had nothing to do with Super Mario Bros. X...

In Secret Squirrel Area i found out that you can actually get to the lower right exit even when you're the large Mario. Run towards the tunnel, and before you reach it, duck. Then Mario slides a bit into the tunnel. Since it's only one block high, Mario gets pushed backwards when he stands up. You can actually turn this to your advantage by facing towards the direction you came into the tunnel, making you being propelled further into the tunnel and down. Using this method you can get to the lower right exit. Even at the places where it's only one block wide you can get enough running distance to get further into the tunnel.
On another note, what difference does it do, what item you get at the end of the level? Because you never seem to actually get anything.

Well, i think this is a great mario game that offers a lot more possibilities than the typical mario clone. Unfortunately i haven't been able to get far enough in the game to see them yet, because i think the levels get somewhat hard later on, so it feels a little like it's more for the hardcore mario gamers. But nothing to be desired left. There's even a great and well implemented multiplayer possibility, with levels built for it.

This game also just got the Sega treatment, see here. The original site and everything is gone.
