This seems to be a bit hard. The striped shape is way too common to be easily guessed, and the colour is definitely too modern... Basically this could be anything from a handle (for example the handle of a razor) to some switch or button. Well, I'll guess the switch which opens a lid of some equipment then

I guess PA is close. Wery close. But instead of a rifle it seems like shotgun. I do not know the english term, but one of those shotguns where you can place many shells in gun, and reload it with pulling back with your foremost hand.
