Well a good place to get postcount up is by Gamehunting. Every game secures you at least 1½ posts, and sometimes even more.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Ok. This is really freakish. Every single newsstation tells the Danes to stay at home if they live in the northern parts of Denmark. I do. I work at a public school, and you would think that would mean that school is out due to snow right? WRONG. I am stuck here, with a snowed in car, no tires for snowdriving, and I am expected to meet at work... One of my colleagues will come pick me up soon. Even busses, taxis and rescue personel have stopped trying to get through the snowmasses. But I am supposed to come to work... Great... And we even have a meeting later on tonight, so its one of those evenings that will stretch onto 9 PM.
Dammit.

Exactly! I already called to see what was happening over there. 3 oldest classes have been sent hoem and my kids 9-10 year olds, have been sent out for a snowballfight lasting from 8 am till 1 pm. Most of the teachers are not coming in, and a good deal of my co-workers are staying home too, which means that we will have lots of crying kids and not so many people to comfort them when they get shot up by some of the bigger kids, with snow.

Looks like a nice day. Yesterday was cool though. I had a 4 hour snowballfight with 30 kids. Didn't have as much fun with snow since I was a kid myself. If the mood allows it I will see if I can get a humongeous snowman project going. There is something really cool about getting 50 kids to do snowmen, so one can take a picture of it. I'm thinking that I will see if I can make some Calvin and Hobbes snowmen... :D

Happy birthday, Prideth! ;)

Cheers for that

It's not only in the northern Denmark, chrølle... They also warn us from the east (copenhagen) to stay inside... Så I stayed home too... You see, I drive to school on a moped, and it can't handle all that snow.. Yesterday it died on the way to school, and on the way home too... Then I had to pull it, cause I wasn't able to start it again.. :/ And it was freezing cold... brr...
So I have spend my afternoon, by cleaning our driveway... it's hard work.. hehe... I think there was about 30-40 cm of snow...

Main reason why it is so important to visit old forums:

(8th post counting from the top) http://www.oldgames.nu/forum/showthread ... number=121

I hope happy father will visit us so that everybody can say congratz. 8)

Winter... There's no winter this year in Poland... Occasional frosts at nights, but nothing special. And no driveway cleaning. ^^

Happy (belated?) Birthday Priddie :) I hope sun does not shine too hot on you :D

I had a bitchy day at work today.. 3 days now I have been trying to locate and fix a bug in one code. And this afternoon I heard that the bug was already fixed in newer version, and corrected version was uploaded just a few hours after I took the old version... Basically I have been changing my own code, and debugging that other code almost 20 hours for nothing...

Other than that... It has not been snowing in Finland foe a while. (At least not here where I live). It has been just damn cold instead... It has been between -20 and -30 celsius whole week.. brrr.. I assume I'd better open the Chivas Regal (12 yrs) bottle I bought... Well, a man needs some antifreeze... ;)

Oh, and I have not been on forums too much lately.. I have been doing some things for next version of the site :/ I just hope I was a bit more talented :D Anyways, since I now am on forums, I decided to say: 'welcome back Chillum, I'm glad to see you on here again!' :)

No doubt we will get more snow during the night, but then it is almost over. Saturday should be rainy.

I spent my day with another 4 hours of snowballfights, and half the school closed down... Tomorrow at 6.45 my schools website will tell if I am off or not... I cant wait to see if I have to walk 7 kilometers in the snow tomorrow morning...

Strange, how can you have that much snow in Denmark and here in Germany there´s none at all. It was 12 Celsius today the sun was shining and you didn´t even need a jacket :(.

That´s very unfair. I wished for some snow the whole winter to do some snow games with my kids at work...

P.S.: Thank you for the free beer!!!

The winter's been weird here as well...I was wearing no coat yesterday when I went to lunch, but today was like -40 and snowing everywhere...the geese have been migrating north already and circling the skies all confused...I don't blame them really...the weather is crazy.

Oh yeah, HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRIDETH!!!

You should just move to Finland PA :D Let's face it. Here's snow every winter at some point. Although this winter was a bit odd in here as well. Middle and Southern Finland did not get snow before december. Northern Finland (where I used to live) naturally had snow at october. And there's places where snow never melts..

Anyways, good to hear you had fun Curly :D Just don't let the kiddos to tease you too much, if it get's too serious, you'd better to contact to older teachers :D :D :D :D :D (I can only imagine how bigger boys are teasing Curly by throwing him with snowballs, and putting snow in his jacket :p )

Errm, I'd better start working, or soon I'll have to be out in the snow all time.. (Yes, I need my job in order to pay the bills :/ )

Yep that is actually one of the issues. I had the oldest kids (15-16 year olds) back when they were 9 too and hammered them with snowballs back then, so when they see me now I am in trouble. Fortunately it is all in good fun. :D
I get lots of snow everyday, both up my jacket and down my pants :D

BTW: I have to find my good walking shoes... See my former post as to why... :(

Oh, for cryin' out loud... Snow for two days and I catch a cold. I've barely even been outside, and certainly not in any snow fights... BLEH!

To mkake matters worse, I haven't gotten my new wide screen TV delivered because of a silly little snow storm (get your priorities straight people! :p ), and I haven't received Final Fantasy XII either - it's out today!

After I've done the necessary shopping, I'm going to straight to bed with tea, rum and Growlanser Generations!
