Ah...mountains. As for mountains I'll be on a trip to Table Mountains from tomorrow to Friday, so if youll see me posting here in these days - expect the work of some web identity thief and suspend the account until real eMTe will be back!

In other and simpler words: no work for CWF until Friday. :D

Ok. Have a good trip. :)

I will go dig into some games and see if I can find some peace and quiet for my brand new series of headaches... (I got new glasses with adapted strength...)

Have you never experienced when you change to new glasses and get your strength adjusted that you get headaches? I get them more or less all the time, but the seem to be wearing off today.
I am -5.25 on both eyes, so that might have something to do with it.

@scytche Cool, do you have any other musical background?

I have noticed that guitar playing has given me much more effiency with computer keyboard skills.

I played some rhythmic keyboard long ago when I sang as well... but nothing like this. Good fun, but will need lots of practice.

I just ended two days of hectic Football tournament down at my workplace where 4 other schools participate, and I am the responsible person for the entire tournament - and a trainer to the 8 year old boys.
Do I need to mention that my boys played to perfection and after the tournament and 3 matches they could look at a scoreboard saying 8-0. :)

My workweek is turning out more hectic than I expected, and that means less time for CWF this week. And since it is Tanjas b-day saturday then I wont have much time this weekend either, and next weekend is my big run at Eremitagen - 13.3 kilometers.

Next week might not be as hectic though. :) Heard that before?

Sorry for the delayed response...just got a marriage license today and put an offer in on a house...so I've been a little busy...

I can relate quite well to your situation as you might have guessed.
It's kinda complex, but I think I can sum it up...her surgery was supposed to repair a fundoplication surgery that she had had when she was younger that went "missing" and to also repair some problems that she has had since her stomach ruptured a few years ago. Anyways, during the surgery they found out that her left lung had fused itself to the chest wall with some scar tissue, and her lung was perforated and leaking into her chest cavity (which explained why she was always getting chest pains and shortness of breath) so they repaired her lung, then they found that her diaphragm was about the size of a tea saucer when it should be the size of a quarter, but because she had a hernia on her stomach, it had managed to pull itself up into her chest cavity, so they pulled her stomach back to its original spot, and "anchored" it in place and closed up her diaphragm.

She's still in a large amount of pain, and has to take percocets daily for the pain. But it is getting better daily.

Wow, Pager! That sounds like heavy-duty stuff there!

But congrats on the marriage license, and hope all goes well with the house.

My girlfriend may be entitled to a lot of money from the bus line, her and several other drivers that were wrongfully terminated. If she gets any large amount of money, we might get a house together. My landlord has been nothing but a troublesome drunk for the past year now. I pay my rent every month, on the first of the month, and that isn't good enough. He threatens and harasses me and other tenants, and has the police and city investigating him on civil and criminal cases, including two hate crimes.

My girlfriend refuses to come to my apartment anymore because of him. She feels unsafe here with the guy around constantly.

Anyways, got a lot of work to do and likely will be up all night.

Holy...something Pager.
That one seems like a big time operation. Is everything ok with her now, except for the pain - that will hopefully wear off right?

I hope so. It seems to be getting better. She's down to two pain killers a day, which is pretty good since when she left the hospital she was in so much pain she almost couldn't wait for the 4 hours to be up before taking more meds. Btw, she thanks you for asking how she is doing.

@RWM, sounds like a good time to leave to me. When we first moved into our apartment it was classy, but we've gone through a few superintendents that have got progressively worse. Now they just let anyone in our building doesn't matter who they are, to the point where our 8th floor smells constantly like pot.

But...I guess it doesn't matter anymore about the building, since as of about 2.5 hours now I am officially a homeowner.

I know what that kind of pain is like, Pager. Last winter was real bad here in Illinois. We had sub-zero temp for over a week straight. I was, and am still, on heavy pain meds, and I could barely get by even then.

Maria and I likely will get a house in the next couple years. Sooner if she gets a big payout from the bus line. Her and two other drivers at least, are likely to win a class action suit being formed.

Constantly living in the smell of pot will do that to you. :)
Congrats on the housepurchase!

No... I never had headaches. Besides, I wear contact lenses now. But I dont remember any headaches. I stopped changing glasses when I was 18 years old (climbed up to about -4-4,5), so maybe this is the question. Or not.

As for playing I played piano when I was in secondary school, because our music teacher considered it compulsory to teach EVERYONE to play decent. So everyone played. After it I lost interest in playing.

Back from the trip to rocks. My knees are not working. Saturday activity-free, playing games strongly self-recommended. :D

I'm officially a nerd now. I installed Linux into my laptop.

Oh... What did the CWF stand for? If the F is for freeware then the top banner is pretty silly.

It's not that silly. The game was called CWF-Freeware even before we decided what CWF should stand for. Now it means: "Curly's World of Freeware", but the banner is still the same...
