I just realized that I have not given the points for the second half final yet...

Russia - Spain 0:3

It was the much better half final even if Russia could not repeat their good play from the group matches and the quarter final. Spain played wonderful football and they didn't even care that they lost Villa after 30 minutes. So Spain is the big favourite in the final against Germany on sunday. But I'm not sure if that is a good thing for Spain. Nearly all favourites in this tournament lost their matches...

Chroelle, Zyx and Pater Alf all guessed 1:2 for Spain, so they get 1 point each. Usul and Tank bet on a draw, so they are the loosers

. And eMTe and Maz get no points, because they didn't bet anything at all.

The Uefa Euro 2008 is over, so here are the final results:

Germany - Spain 0:1

Congratulations to Spain! They were the team that scored the most goals, got the goals against, won the most games and played the most attractive football. So I would say they really deserve the title!
After all it was a good tournament with lots of interesting and attractive games and in comparison to 2004 it were the teams that played offensive and attractive football that played a good role in the tournament (and also the young teams).

Noone guessed the result right, but Chroelle, Pater Alf, Zyx and Usul guessed the right tendency and get 1 point each. Pater Alf also guessed the right champion and is the only one who gets the 7 extra points.

Heck I am just glad I ended up on a 4th place instead of the dead-last place I had for so long.
